£/€ Exchange Rates

For travellers from the UK it 'pays' to shop around for the best £/€ rate as recently (August 2008) one guest was quoted in 3 High St Travel Agents a rate of £1/€1.14, but could have €1.21 if spending over £500. At the Post Office the rate was €1.21 regardless of the sterling amount to be exchanged.
